In the summer of 2026, we will offer summer jobs in departments within production and at our cold storage. This advertisement refers to one of our departments at the Umeå dairy, where we have longer training periods for some of the positions.

Information about the positions

At Umeå dairy, we process the northern Swedish milk raw material into a wide range of world-class dairy products. The tasks within milk treatment, evaporation, and biogas mainly involve monitoring the production process and ensuring that machines and equipment are functioning. In milk treatment, incoming milk is received for further processing at the dairy. You will work like an air traffic controller, constantly monitoring milk, process, and cleaning flows.

Your role includes working towards efficient production with as little waste and loss as possible. Your tasks also include some maintenance, cleaning, and quality controls.

We are looking for you

You who are applying have at least a high school education, preferably in process/technology/mechanics or a scientific education. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the process industry, preferably with pharmaceuticals or food, and if you have good knowledge of hygiene regulations within the food industry. Work in production requires good physical fitness as the tasks involve both lifting and manual work.

As a person, you are unpretentious and solution-focused even in unforeseen situations. Furthermore, we believe that you are structured and that you enjoy a job that involves varied tasks.

As a summer substitute with us, you need to master Swedish in both spoken and written form. Due to safety regulations, we want you to be over 18 years old.

This advertisement refers to 6 positions at Umeå dairy:

• 4 of the positions involve a training period of 12-14 full weeks. The work involves shift work. Planned training from February.
• 2 of the positions involve a training period of 2 weeks. Daytime work. Planned training in May.

As it is difficult to get bus connections to the dairy, it is an advantage if you have a B driver's license, but it is not a requirement.
